A white man was caught on video admitting to racism after using racial slurs against a Black shopper at a Costco checkout line.
In a video widely shared on social media, an unidentified Black man appeared to confront the white shopper, who called him the N-word and referred to him as "boy." The Black customer said the incident unfolded after he declined to let the white man cut in front of him.
“He called me the n-word and ‘boy’ because I wouldn’t let him cut me in line. Racist in Costco. 2026 Wow," the caption of the video reads.
While the slur itself wasn't captured on camera, the white man didn't deny his racist actions during the confrontation.
“So you’re a racist?” the customer filming asked, prompting the white man to nod in agreement.
“Exactly what you are,” the white customer continued, before telling the Black man to “f— off.”
As the person filming called out, “Racism in 2026,” the white man responded, “Yep, that’s right.”
“It’s wild how some people think they can act like that,” one commenter wrote.
“Bro forgot he was in real life instead of behind a computer," another person said.
Costco has not publicly commented on the incident, and it remains unclear whether the man has been identified.
