As attacks on civil rights, democratic institutions, and hard-won protections escalate nationwide, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition is sounding the alarm and issuing a powerful call to action.
From June 12 to June 14, 2025, the historic organization will host its annual People’s Conference at its National Headquarters in Chicago (930 E. 50th Street). This year’s theme, Call To Action, couldn’t be more urgent.
For decades, Rainbow PUSH has brought together changemakers across generations to confront the country’s most pressing challenges head-on. This year’s convening arrives amid what the organization describes as a “moral and constitutional crisis,” as coordinated efforts threaten the very foundations of democracy— from voting rights and press freedom to judicial independence and equal access to education.
The three-day conference will feature an all-star lineup of speakers—from grassroots organizers to global thought leaders—committed to safeguarding the progress that generations have fought to secure. Attendees will participate in in-depth sessions, strategic discussions, and movement-building workshops aimed at confronting inequality and driving systemic change.
In the weeks ahead, expect more details on programming, speakers, and how to get involved. But one thing is clear: The time for action is now.
